Walnuts are one of the seven kinds of nuts that are believed to prevent heart diseases. They are known to provide a great amount of protein which helps build organisms, cells, tissues and muscles. Walnuts like most nuts are rich in vitamins and minerals especially antioxidants, vitamin E, and dietary fiber. Like some nuts, although they contain high in fat, this is not an issue. Fats found in organic walnuts are mostly omega-3 essential fatty acids which benefit the body in many ways like strengthening the heart and brain and are vital to the production of hormones. This enhances the body’s immune system through antibodies.
