		<description>I came across a reference the other day that implied that D-Mannose is the name of the sugar  that fights bad yeasts. Perhaps you could follow the clue that cranberries are loaded with this sugar, so if you eat enough cranberries you should get rid of candida.

I didn&#039;t need the information, so I forgot it, but one of the less usual sugars ( it might have been Xylitol ) helps. Apparently the yeast latches onto this particular sugar in the skin. When you overload it with floating sugar molecules, the yeast latches on to floating molecules and is washed away.

Sorry I can&#039;t point you to a reference. I&#039;ve a vague idea it might be the same sugar found in cranberries.
